The first of its kind in Bali, OXO Townhouses Umalas started as a humble effort to design a home and lifestyle that is effortless – everything you need and nothing you don’t. The result is a group of iconic townhouses, combining European standards of living with the raw beauty of tropical lifestyle. It all started in Umalas, a lesser-known area in urban Bali where many expats, families and long-term residents prefer, and has now grown to other locations due to popularity of our signature urban tropical design.
Located in Umalas, a central area in urban Bali preferred by the expat community and long-term residents, due to its central location, proximity to Canggu, Seminyak, the beach and international schools, and its peaceful community atmosphere. An up-and-coming area, you’ll find many organic groceries, neighbourhood cafés and restaurants and lifestyle facilities.

The highlight of this place is the kitchen. It’s well stocked and functional. But there are a few things that made our stay not as enjoyable. The bedsheet smelt like sweat and made us feel itchy — the host changed the bedsheet after we requested and the new sheets are fine however it felt gross just thinking about we slept on used sheets… The pool is small and there is only one small jet so it’s basically very still water with some dusty floating on top… wouldn’t recommend this place if pool is important to you. Lastly the water heater is a bit too small ( as we can see it in the kitchen cabinet ) for 2 bedroom so the bedroom at second floor can only have Luke warm shower.
Very satisfied with our stay.
